Some days you’re the hammer, other days you’re the nail.

UFC lightweight attraction Paddy Pimblett is expected to make his Octagon return opposite 155-pound “God of War” Benoit Saint Denis as part of the upcoming UFC 329 event to close out International Fight Week in Las Vegas. While the contest has yet to be made official, the sportsbooks have already opened betting lines for the July 11 fight card.

Pimblett is currently the +155 underdog against -180 for Saint Denis, according to BetOnline.ag.

The 31-year-old “Baddy” (23-4) is coming off a five-round ass kicking against Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 back in January, his first loss under the UFC banner after signing with the promotion back in 2021. As for Saint Denis, 30, he improved to 17-3 by wiping the floor with veteran lightweight Dan Hooker as part of the UFC 325 lineup earlier this year in Sydney.

Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway 2 is rumored to headline UFC 329 (see those odds here).

“Paddy vs. Benoit Saint Denis at International Fight Week, this makes a tremendous amount of sense,” former UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, said on YouTube. “It’s got all the marketing. Paddy talks a lot of sh*t, as we know. He’s got tremendous grappling and he showed last time that’s he’s a dog and he’s got the chin and all that. Benoit Saint Denis, the former French special forces guy, that guy’s a killer. He really is. Last time out, he looked absolutely phenomenal. So, I think that’s the fight they’re gonna do.”

We’ll find out in the next few weeks, if not sooner.
